Michelle Templin awarded seat on AHCA/NCAL Survey Regulatory Committee

Holding leadership positions in key industry-leading associations allows MHA to keep a close pulse on the issues that impact our post-acute care provider members, so that we can provide you with the products, services, and solutions you need in your quest to provide the best patient care. 

We are excited to announce that Michelle Templin, MHA’s SVP, Product Management and Legislative Affairs, will be serving a two-year term on American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL)’s Survey Regulatory Committee. AHCA/NCAL is the largest association in the U.S. that represents long-term and post-acute providers with more than 14,000 providers. MHA is the only full-service post-acute care provider representing both long-term care pharmacies and facilities.

The Survey Regulatory Committee’s focus includes:

  • Reviewing proposed laws, regulations, guidance, and policies that impact nursing centers
  • Assisting AHCA in the development of informal and formal comments
  • Working with key stakeholders across the continuum of care in creating positive guidance for nursing centers

This is the first committee seat for Michelle with AHCA/NCAL, having previously been a speaker at their national events. Michelle also currently serves on the Policy Committee and is an Executive Liaison at the Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition (SCPC) as well a serving on the Executive Committee with the Alliance for LTC Pharmacy at Home.

This latest committee seat is one of several industry association leadership positions our associates hold. 

Additional positions include:

  • Stacey Ness, PharmD, RPh, CSP, IgCP, MSCS, AAHIVP, Vice President of Clinical Services serves in an executive leadership position at IgNS and is a NASP Education Committee member
  • Jeanne Manzi, PharmD, BCGP, FASCP, Director, LTC Clinical Services, serves as ASCP President and is an APhA House of Delegates member
  • Troy Tanner, PharmD, RPh, BCPS, Associate Director, Clinical Services, is a NHIA Sterile Compounding Practice Committee member
